The Palomar College Archaeology Program offers an A.A. Degree and Certificates in Archaeology with a focus on beginning and advanced excavation and surveying, lab analysis, and historical archaeology. The website provides information on our current and past excavations, archaeological surveying for California State Parks at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, techniques of field archaeology, the Indians of southern California, the analysis of historic ceramics and glass bottles, program field trips in prehistoric and historic archaeology, career opportunities, activites of our archaeology club, and success stories of our program graduates.
